Who is Kontexter?

Founder and head of Kontexter is Mac Mueller. After having used his first computer in 1985 (Commodore 64), Mac discovered the internet in 1993 (when there was still no web). In 1998 he graduated in “Digital Media” with a thesis on the “Commercial use of software agents in the internet”.

During his studies, he gained experience and know-how while working for the industry both in Germany (Raysono AG, Munich / enorm media projects, Berlin) and abroad (San Francisco State University), just to name a few.

Right after his graduation Mac Mueller worked for 3 years as Head of Conception and Consulting Director for the hot shop and new media agency Im Stall GmbH in Berlin, Germany. He planned and managed more than 20 projects for clients like Kraft Foods Germany, Renault or RTL New Media.

In 2003 Mac Mueller founded Kontexter and since then has been offering support for entering the German-speaking markets, product localization, search engine marketing and strategy consulting.
